The 50th anniversary of <i>Justitiële verkenningen</i> (Judicial explorations) is an occasion to reflect and look forward with Hans Boutellier and Marit Scheepmaker. Both served as editors-in-chief while working at the Scientific Research and Documentation Center (WODC) and played a key role in shaping the journal’s direction.
